CREATING VALUE THROUGH SOCIAL PROGRAMS AND CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY |
Tecnoconsult Group of companies expresses its corporate policy on corporate responsibility in three key areas: supporting the development of scientific and technological research in universities; support for emerging Venezuelan cultural values, especially musical; and through assistance programs to low resources educational centers. ![]() USB/TC Agreement: In 2012 an agreement was signed between the Simon Bolivar University and Tecnoconsult whereby our company, implementing its policy to channel our social responsibility programs in support of research in the field of engineering, will award the three best thesis annually among engineering graduates. Likewise, the Department of Professional Studies will receive an annual donation to support their academic development programs. In 2012 and 2013 awards have been granted to the best six theses of the Engineering Faculty as well as to their tutors. Support to Venezuelan cultural values In Crescendo Program: Through the In Crescendo Program, Tecnoconsult executes its policy of promotion and dissemination of Venezuelan cultural values and, in particular, emerging musical talent. Annually it invites the country´s young musicians to submit their recording proposals. The prize for the winner, is the production, distribution and promotion of their CD. Book publishing Program: Through this longstanding activity, Tecnoconsult has edited several books that highlight important aspects of our culture. Among others: Dialogue with the Natural, by Fabian Michelangeli; Engineers and Engineering in Venezuela - XV to XX Centuries, by Carlos Maldonado Burgoin; Agustin Codazzi - Italy and the Construction of the New World, by Juan José Pérez Codazzi Rangel; and Bronzes, by Miguel Sanoja, compilation of several authors.
Educational and Social Assistance Programs ![]() Educational Support deep in the Llanos region: through the ASOPICA Civil Association, Tecnoconsult contributes with personal and educational development of children from the Yaruro/Pume and Jivi ethnic groups, at the Integral School La Coromoto, at Caño La Pica, located at an isolated corner of Apure State.
