Kandym Project in Uzbekistan with a 60% completion at the end of 2015

Given the changes in the global energy market, the implementation of the project "Construction of CPF Complex and development of Kandym group of fields" in Uzbekistan, was subject of a review in order to adjust their costs and profitability for the owner Lukoil Company. This led to executing a new phase named Re FEED, which started in December 2014 and concluded in the middle of last year, as it was established by the contract.

The areas of design subject to modification that were assigned by Hyundai E & C to Tecnoconsult were: main roads and roads at operational areas, access railroad and 35 kV and 10kV high voltage electrical lines to feed operational and service areas.

Currently, there are activities being carried out that will complete the detailed engineering for all the systems established in the contract, in addition to those listed above, include the water pipeline, the export gas pipeline, the 220 kV electric power line, and the gathering systems GS-1 and GS-2 from the gas extraction wells, cluster and gas gathering stations.

The beginning of this new phase of detailed engineering was done in June 2015 and will conclude in May 2016.

The project consists of the development and construction of a gas field, including the processing center (CPF) gathering stations (GS), cluster, wells and external facilities required for the operation of the field.

The status of the project as of December 2015, is a 60% progress having completed the design of the main roads and the 220 kV high voltage line and that are already in the construction phase.

"PMC"-Miramar Project, Nicaragua With execution at 99.35% completion, 3,600,000 man/.hours without disabling accidents have been accumulated

After 28 months of execution and with 99.35% completion, the PMC (Project Management Consulting) that Tecnoconsult executes for our client Albanisa in Nicaragua, has accumulated a total of 3,600,000 man/hours without disabling accidents, a figure that is considered an important SH&E (Safety, Health and Environment) milestone for a project of this nature and international features. Construction management activities began in August 2013 for the Reception, Storage and Fuel Distribution Miramar Plant , located at Nicaragua´s Pacific coast, 80 km. from Managua, in which Tecnoconsult took charge of the PMC and the first one we execute in this country. The project is in the phase of closure of outstanding issues in order to move on to the commissioning of the plant.

Tecnoconsult assigned a total of 32 professional and technical personnel to the project, who assisted in the areas of Advance of Project, Construction, SH&E, Control and Quality Assurance as well as Contract Administration.

Tecnoconsult the installation of pumps and mechanical seals after the successful startup of the Esmeraldas Refinery in Ecuador

Tecnoconsult´s participation continues in supporting our client in diverse projects being executed for the rehabilitation of the Esmeraldas Refinery under the responsibility of EP Petroecuador.

In December 2015, authorities of the Government of Ecuador proceeded to the startup of the Esmeraldas Refinery once the rehabilitation project was completed and which allowed it to reach its maximum operational capacity.

Within this framework of achievements, Tecnoconsult´s personnel is participating, highlighting the installation of 50 pumps with the coordinated efforts in the fields of engineering, material control, QA / QC, Construction Management and Maintenance.

In 2016, we will continue providing services in the same areas of work to achieve, in the first quarter, the installation of 26 new pumps and more than a hundred mechanical seals and their related ancillary services.

Tecnoconsult´s new headquarters in final stages of remodeling. Migration is scheduled for the first quarter 2016

Tecnoconsult´s new offices will have features that will make the work environment a very pleasant and productive one. Following the latest design standards, the “mixed open space office concept” was adopted, that is, open spaces on all the project development floors, combined with meeting rooms and private offices. The dining room area, located on the ground floor with its outdoor external extension, will also be very pleasant feature. On the seventh floor a terrace will be located, with a beautiful view of the Avila and an indoor gym with full sanitary services.

Also it will be a significant benefit to the Tecnoconsult community, customers and visitors to have the new headquarters located in a sector with so many nearby facilities such as the Caracas subway stations, the Millenium Mall, multiple parking lots, restaurants and shops.

It is expected that the migration will take place at the end of first quarter 2016. Planning´s main goal is to minimize impacts and disruption on the operation of the company.

For the fourth consecutive year, Tecnoconsult rewards the best thesis from the Engineering Faculty of the Simon Bolivar University.

With speeches that kicked off the ceremony, both the Rector Enrique Planchart and the Academic Vice-rector Rafael Escalona, thanked the continued support Tecnoconsult has been providing to the SBU and referred to the long history of the company in the development of engineering both in Venezuela and in foreign markets, and wished for the continued strengthening of the institutional relations between the SBU and Tecnoconsult.

On his part, Carlos E. Yanes, Tecnoconsult´s Executive President reminded that he is also a graduate of the Engineering Faculty of the SBU, and that he has always been grateful to the institution for the professional training received. He stated that Tecnoconsult helps to create value and build a better country by supporting SBU´s teaching and research projects.

He emphasized that our company has also been an excellent school, over nearly half a century, for 11,700 professionals of diverse fields who have contributed to Tecnoconsult´s history, among whom, to our privilege, were many and outstanding SBU graduates.
